TVs: 4K, UHD, full HD, Smart TV, with Wi-Fi. Preferably cheap, small and large.
Heard in one of the electronics stores:
Seller: What kind of TV are you looking for?
Client: Some good but inexpensive. 55 inches, preferably 4K.
Is it really easy to find a TV that meets all these criteria? Will it be cheap, large in the highest resolution?
What should we really pay attention to when choosing a TV set?
Small or big? Screen diagonal
Many of us believe that the larger the size of the TV, the better. TV manufacturers take care to meet our needs, which is why the TV market is really extensive. In addition to personal preferences, an important factor influencing our choice is the price of the device, which, as you know, increases with increasing the diagonal of the screen. However, we must remember a very important issue, namely, from what distance we will watch TV. We can follow the calculations from a mathematical formula based on the possibilities of our eyesight, i.e., with full HD resolution, it is about 4.2 cm per inch of the screen diagonal, while with 4K resolution, it is about 2.1 cm per inch of the screen diagonal. This means that when buying a 50-inch TV, the minimum distance between the TV and the viewer should be 2.73 meters for a full HD TV and 1.37 meters for a 4K TV. So before we do the shopping, let's pay attention to the dimensions of the room in which the TV will be located and at what distance from it we will be sitting. In this respect, the Kruger&Matz offer is extremely extensive, and you can find both a 24-inch and a 75-inch model.
Screen resolution: 4K (ultra HD), full HD, or HD
Taking into account the resolution, we have a choice of HD TVs, full HD, and recently enjoying unflagging popularity ultra HD models, i.e., 4K. If we really care about the highest quality picture, we should choose such a TV without hesitation. The ultra HD model will provide higher contrast, a wider color range, and better sharpness. Compared to full HD TVs, it has four times the resolution, which will allow you to capture the smallest details.
If the 4K model undermines the home budget too much, you can choose a model with a lower resolution, i.e., full HD or HD. The offer of the Kruger & Matz brand is tailored to the possibilities of all customers, which is why it includes TV sets in all three resolutions.
TV panel: class A, A-, B
Once we have decided on the size and resolution of the new TV, pay attention to the next one, an extremely important parameter - the quality of the panel. Televisions sold on the market have panels of A-class (the highest quality), A- or B class (the weakest), so instead of following the name of the panel manufacturer, it is worth checking the requirements for the class of the panel in the model that interests us. For people who do not have time for online research and for running around shops and talking to sellers, we recommend visiting the Kruger&Matz store. All our televisions have A-class panels.
Matrix response time
An important element is the reaction time of the matrix. This parameter determines the time needed to illuminate or blank a single pixel of the matrix. So, the shorter the response time, the better. If we do not want to see the "smudging" effect while watching fast images, e.g., sports programs, the response time of the matrix should be below 10 ms. In all Kruger&Matz TV sets, this parameter is at the level of 6-9 ms.
Refreshing the picture
When it comes to image refreshment, we only have one thing in mind - don't get fooled by TV commercials! TV manufacturers assure us that the products they offer have a refresh rate of several hundred hertz. The truth is, however, that in practice the TV sets currently available on the market are 50- and 100-hertz devices. The values given several times higher are only a procedure aimed at attracting the customer's attention and do not really affect the quality of the displayed image.
... what about functionality?
One of the most desirable features in new televisions. People willing to increase a little budget that they plan to spend on buying a new TV should carefully consider the model that has this function. Using the Wi-Fi module or the RJ-45 port, we can connect the TV to the network, and thus we get access to internet services, including a web browser, Youtube, or Netflix rental.

Ports on the TV
When buying a new TV set, keep in mind what the device will be used for. If we are going to make our living room a home entertainment center, and we want to connect, for example, a game console or external storage media to the TV, make sure that it has the appropriate ports that will allow us to do so.
Built-in tuner for digital TV or DVB-T decoder
Currently, in Poland, we have access to digital terrestrial television, which we can receive using a built-in tuner or a separate DVB-T decoder. Although the vast majority of new TV sets already have a built-in tuner, we can meet different standards. Kruger&Matz has also prepared for the changes currently taking place in Western Europe, where the DVB-T2 H.265 standard is currently being introduced, and now all our TV sets are equipped with tuners that support this standard. This means that if these changes are also introduced in Poland, we will not have to buy additional tuners or pickups.
If we choose the perfect model, let's make sure that it will serve us for a long time, so let's try to see if it is an emergency. Kruger&Matz TV sets are based on M-Star processors, which are considered the most stable. Hence, we are sure that we are getting a high-quality product with a failure rate of less than 0.4%.
A statistical Pole spends over 4 hours a day in front of the TV. So let's make sure that all this time spent provides us with as much entertainment as possible! By following the above-mentioned tips, we will be sure that the new TV will turn out to be a bull's eye!

A TV hung on the wall saves space and keeps children safe, but most of all offer more possibilities to adjust the angle of the screen in the vertical and horizontal planes.
